The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Monday, May 30 as public holiday to celebrate the 2016 Democracy Day.
The Minister of Interior, Retired Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government today being Wednesday in Abuja.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr Bassey Akpanyung, quoted the minister as wishing Nigerians happy democracy day celebration.
