In 1914, an Anglican ArchDeacon T.A.J. Ogunbiyi, founded the Reformed Ogboni Fraternity that we have today, he initially named it "Ogboni Fraternity of the Christians" but when non-Christians started to join, he had to let go of that name and call it "The Reformed Ogboni Fraternity"
