Yeah, but you have to understand that most of these countries still use lower denominations compare to that of Nigeria. Ghana has ¢50 as highest note whilst Nigeria has #1,000 as theirsNa Ghana own dey pain me.

Okechi, Recall that Ghana removed 2decimal points from their currency table when Cedis ran amok about a decade ago, but the currency has been remarkably stable since then. It would have been 100Cedis for 81naira if no changes were made.

@Anthony, Soludo proposed to follow suit to help curtail the cost in transporting naira with bullion vans, your legislooters and politrickcians opposed him vehemently, sighting drastic reduction in the value of their stach
This measure was not supposed to add or remove value to ones bottom line, just a cosmetic approach to reduce unnecessary countings of valueless notes and to allow banks save money on logistics in ferrying cash and causing traffic up and down.
