I am so confused in this us election but why am I seeing figures like 51-47; 276-254
while in Nigeria we use 10,000,000-6,000,000 figures

In America,they use the electoral college voting system.Certain states,based on size and population have different standard votes.California alone has 55electoral college votes,etc,and The US has 50 states.Hence altogether,they have 538 electoral college votes,whoever gets to 270,wins,when there is a tie,in Dec,there will be a vote by electors,where the Senate will vote for President and the HOR will vote the VP.
In this case it was an outright win.

1. ballot box snatching...
2. inconclusive election....
3. underage voting.....
4. and so on.....
