Mercury is the closest to the sun and its temperature is as high as 467 0C (873 0F). Venus is covered with carbon dioxide containing droplets of sulphuric acid. This traps the sun’s heat and makes Venus hotter than even Mercury. Mars, the red planets, is considered to be the only planet after earth where life could exist. As far as it is known, the earth is the only planet that life could exist.
