Incorrect: The baker daily supplies us bread

Correct: The baker daily supplies us with bread.

Supply when used as a verb often goes with a preposition. The same thing goes to 'provide', 'adorn', 'shower', 'horrify', 'abide', etc.

Abi, I hope you learnt.

Incorrect: I don't know if this story is a fact or a fiction.

Correct: I don't know if this story is fact or fiction.

Fact and Fiction as used in the above sentences are uncountable nouns and cannot take the indefinite article, 'a'.
