The size of the universe is not known. There are at least 100 billion galaxies that is in existence, although, the number of galaxies keeps on growing as better and powerful telescopes are developed. The galaxies are moving away from one another which is causing the universe to expand. Most scientists think that the universe will begin to diminish until it returns back to fireball while others believe that the universe will continually expand.
